Smeared Ink is an Angel Company and encourages your use of our stamps in all of your projects. We grant you the right to sell your personal projects and artwork created with Smeared Ink stamp images as long as the following conditions are met:

Each handmade item created for sale must be personally and individually created and hand stamped by the selling artist and may not be reproduced or copied in any form by any means, graphic, electronic, or mechanical, including photocopying, scanning, or printing of the stamped image. Mass production, assembly-line construction, and production by workers for hire is strictly prohibited.

Completed, handmade projects may be sold at competitive and non-competitive permanent retail locations, as well as temporary craft events, community fundraisers, and over the Internet. In selling handmade projects, the seller must make it clear that the items are handmade or personally created by the seller. Stamped images may not be sold independently as a raw material or product, but must be part of a completed handmade project.

You may not use Smeared Ink images for the purpose of creating logos or company trademarks.

Digital files of any type containing our images may not be sold under any condition. Our digital stamp designs may not be sold, traded, or given to any persons other than those who completed the original purchase. Digital Stamps may be used in accordance with this Angel Policy as long as they are a part of a completed handmade project.

You must give Smeared Ink full credit for the original design of the stamped image in any advertising or description of your product, including but not limited to online store descriptions, blog postings, auction site postings, retail signage, and promotion descriptions in which you are referencing the sale of your handmade product.

Misty Benson retains all rights to sell and/or license any products or items that feature her artwork. Please refrain from selling your hand stamped items that contain these images.
